Vinitaly and the City, the Vinitaly off-show in the heart of Verona, 2019 edition, saw us engaged in the creation of “Grapes of Light”, an architectural video mapping projected on the facade of the Loggia di Fra’ Giocondo, in Piazza dei Signori.

Across the facade of the palace flows the Adige for a night, cascading into an impressive waterfall. Illusionistic plays of light and shadow tell of the transformation of wine, the star of the show, and the rich Veronese setting, its architectural beauties, its squares.

“Grapes of light” was developed as a team: joining Aelion in video production and 3D animation were the skillful direction of Marcello Pontalto (technical director), Alessandro Formenti of Doc Servizi (production director), and Alessandra Biti and Rolen Guzman Flores of Studioventisette (artistic directors).
