In September 2022, we returned to illuminate the KONTATTO fashion show for the fall-winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection.
At Centergross in Bologna, The Greatest Show was staged on a circular catwalk inside a circus tent. From the design of the event to the technical setup of the show, we took care of every detail of this project, to recreate, in the eyes of the audience, the illusion of an eternal childhood, made of games, amazement, acrobatics. The idea, which came about thanks to KONTATTO patron Federico Ballandi, was to create a fashion show inspired by childhood and accompanied by a circus show under the Togni family tent, closed, finally, by a concert by The Kolors.
Our studio was responsible for the design of the entire event, from the technical set-up to the coordination and direction of the parade. We designed the spaces, lighting set design and soundtrack.
On two circular trusses, measuring 12 and 6 meters, placed on two concentric planes in the center of the tent, we mounted 72 lights in combination with two laser projectors: all, to create geometries of circular beams of light that would intersect with each other during the show.
We then took care of the direction, management and coordination of the entire fashion show; but also logistics and coordination of the partners involved. We provided a team to create photo shoots, video reports and social content for the campaign to promote the event in the following days.
Finally, we also directed, coordinated and managed the live streaming on the client’s social channels and on TeleRomagna, with the help of 4 videomaker operators and a drone.
