In the historic setting of the Renato Dall’Ara stadium, the largest sports facility in the city of Bologna, KONG chose the Andrea Costa curve, named after Giacomo Bulgarelli, as the location for a memorable event with music, lighting, live visuals and video mapping for which we were entirely responsible for the lighting design.

Kong’s intent was to transform the stadium into an extraordinary place that would unite the many passions of the Bolognese, from music to football, from nightlife to the historical and artistic beauties of the city. With the collaboration of our partner Radio Sata, we then created, for the 2019 and 2022 editions, a lighting design on the entire Bulgarelli curve, animating it with the red-and-blue colors of Bologna FC; in the central part of the curve, we projected the animated Kong logo; finally, we managed a ledwall and a led mapping installation mounted on the stage that hosted the DJ sets of the Pastaboys and Andrea Bassi.
